Drive towards Kruja – the picturesque birthplace of Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, (the Albania ’s National Hero) – perched at more than 4,000 feet above sea level.
Visit The Castle, which was built during the 5th and 6th centuries and has an elliptical shape with a total area of 2,25 hectares. Inside the castle there is also The Ethnographic Museum.
Visit the attractive Medieval Bazaar, located in the town of Kruja. Its main peculiarities are that all the shops are made of wood. Here tourist can buy traditional handicrafts other interesting
items.

Visit National Historic Museum. There are objects taken to show the prehistoric culture beginning, the neolit, bronze and iron. There are 4000 objects, photos, relics, which testify the history of our country.
Visit The Clock Tower, dated in the years 21-22 of the XIX and in 200 years of existence it became the symbol of the city.
Visit The Mosque of Ethem Bey. It lies on a tower 2,25 mx2m and 9m high composed by 37 lines of stones. Some of them are engraved with geometric and vegetable motives extracted from the Albanian tradition.
Visit the remains of the ex-block area where the villas of the ex-communist leaders are still standing.
